any such applicant and such applicant shall, when engaged
in selling or offering for sale, carry said license either in the
vehicle or on his person, and exhibit the same to any officer
of Baltimore County whenever required.
No person, association, firm or corporation so authorized
to hawk, sell, peddle, vend or offer for sale any of the articles
hereinbefore described shall maintain what is known as a
sidewalk stand or place for selling, but shall keep continuous-
ly moving, and not hawk, sell, peddle, vend, or offer for sale
such article in any one place.
Amr person, association, firm or corporation violating or
failing to comply with the provisions of this Section shall,
upon conviction for each and every offense, be subject to a
fine not exceeding $100. 00 nor less than $10. 00, and upon
failure or refusal to pay the same shall be committed to the
jail of Baltimore County for a period not exceeding thirty
days.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1937.

CHAPTER 511.
AN ACT to repeal and reenact with amendments Section 48
of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland,
title "City of Baltimore", sub-title "City Collector", so as
to provide that the purchaser of lands in the City of Balti-
more at a tax sale, after payment of the purchase price, shall
have a good and indefeasible title to said lands upon ratifi-
cation and confirmation of said sale by the court, and that
the order of court ratifying and confirming said sale shall
be conclusive as to the legality of all proceedings had or
taken in connection with said sale.
SECTION 1. lic it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 48 of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland, title "City of Baltimore", sub-title "City
Collector", be and the same is hereby repealed and reenacted
with amendments to read as follows:
48. In all cases where lands held in fee simple or by lease
have been sold, or shall be sold for payment of taxes in arrears,
according to the provisions of existing laws, it shall be the
duty of the City Collector to report the said sale, together
with all the proceedings had in relation thereto, to the Circuit
Court of said city. The Court to which such report shall be
