liquor or any other alcoholic beverages on Sunday, in res-
taurants, hotels, clubs or elsewhere.

BEER, WINE AND LIQUOR LICENSE, CLASS D (ON SALE) —
TAVERNS IN BALTIMORE CITY, NORTH BEACH, CHESAPEAKE
BEACH AND BALTIMORE COUNTY ONLY. In Baltimore City, in
Baltimore County, and in Calvert County, the Clerk of the
Court of Common Pleas for said City, if the place of business
is located in said City, or the Clerk of the Circuit Court for
said Counties, if the place of business is located in either of
said Counties, shall be authorized to issue beer, wine and
liquor licenses, Class D, which shall authorize the holder
thereof to keep for sale and sell all alcoholic beverages at retail
at the place therein described for consumption on the
premises or elsewhere, provided that no license shall be
issued for any place in Calvert County lying within the cor-
porate limits of the towns of North Beach and Chesapeake
Beach respectively. The annual fee for such license shall be
Five Hundred Dollars (f500. 00) in Baltimore City and Four
Hundred Dollars ($400. 00) in Baltimore County and in the
towns of North Beach and Chesapeake Beach, and shall be
payable to the said Clerk, before any license is issued,
for distribution as hereinafter provided. No such license shall
be issued for any drug store.

No holder of any such license shall be permitted to make
any sale of any alcoholic beverage on Sunday, or on the day
of any general, special or primary election; nor on any other
day between the hours of midnight and 6 A. M. in Baltimore
County and between the hours of 1 A. M. and 6 A. M. in
Baltimore City.

BEER, WINE AND LIQUOR LICENSE, CLASS E (ON SALE) —
STEAMBOATS. Such a license shall be issued by the Comp-
troller, subject to the conditions and restrictions hereinafter
set forth and shall authorize the owner or operator of any
steamboat, steamship, ferry boat or other vessel, used for
the transportation of passengers, operated in this State, to
sell all alcoholic leverages for consumption thereon. One
such license shall be issued for each such steamboat, steam-
ship, ferry boat or other vessel on which such beverages are
sold as aforesaid, and shall be good throughout this State.
The annual fee for such a license shall be Seventy-Five Dol-
lars ($75. 00) per boat and shall be payable to the Comp-
troller for the use of the State before any such license is
issued. No holder of any such license shall be permitted
to make any sale thereunder while the licensed vessel is made
fast to any wharf or pier in any county where such sales
are prohibited by local law.
