of said alcoholic beverages which might be sold at any given
time or period to any individual consumer or licensee by such
system or methods as may be prescribed by the Liquor Control
Board.

(e) To make any and all contracts, rules and regulations
which they may deem necessary or desirable to carry out the
powers conferred upon them by this Article.

(f) To sell and ship outside of county any containers or
packages of alcoholic beverages kept for sale in the dispensary
or branch dispensaries, provided that such shipment is not
prohibited by law applicable in the place where shipment is
consigned.

(g) To rent, lease, or purchase premises necessary for the
conduct of said dispensaries, subject to the approval of the
County Commissioners.

(h) Unless otherwise provided in this sub-title, to fix the
hours for opening and closing all dispensaries and branch
dispensaries; and it shall be unlawful to remain open or sell
any alcoholic beverages after the regular closing hours.

(i) HARFORD COUNTY. In Harford County, the officers or
inspectors employed by the Board may be the Sheriff of Harford
County or any of his deputies, or any Constable of said County
or any Town Officer of any incorporated municipality of said
County; or the Board may appoint or employ from time to
time special officers or inspectors, to whom shall be adminis-
tered by the Board, the usual oath given to peace officers, and
who shall upon request of said Board furnish bond in the same
manner as required of Constables of said County; such officers
or inspectors shall be under the direction and control" of said
Board while on duty for the enforcement of this Article; pro-
vided, however, that said Board may not expend for the
salaries or per diem compensation of said officers or inspectors
in the aggregate an annual sum in excess of twenty-five hun-
dred dollars ($2,500.00).

(j) KENT COUNTY. In Kent County, in addition to the
other powers listed in this section, the Board shall have power
to appoint a manager of said dispensaries, who shall hold
office for a term of six (6) years, beginning June 1, 1947, and
shall furnish to the said Liquor Control Board a good and
sufficient bond in a penalty amount to be fixed by the said
Liquor Control Board for the faithful performance of his
duties as Manager. Said Manager shall receive as compen-
sation for his services an annual salary of not less than two
thousand dollars ($2,000.00) nor more than three thousand
dollars ($3,000.00), and in addition the Liquor Control Board
shall from time to time have authority to reimburse said Man-
ager for expenses incurred in the performance of his duties.
