the Governor. The Comptroller shall designate one of said
members to be chairman of the Bureau, who shall receive a
salary of twenty-five hundred dollars ($2,500) per annum.
Each of the other two members shall receive a salary of
eighteen hundred dollars ($1,800) per annum.

(b) The Bureau of State Licenses shall act in place of a
county board of license commissioners in Charles, Queen
Anne's and Somerset counties.

138. SALARIES, (a) The salaries of the members of the
said Boards of License Commissioners shall be as specified in
this section. Where no salary is specified for such boards
which serve ex officio, the members thereof are to receive no
additional compensation under the provisions of this section.

(a-1) ALLEGANY COUNTY. In Allegany County the salary of
each member of the Board of License Commissioners shall be
two thousand dollars ($2,000.00) per annum.

(b) ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY. In Anne Arundel County the
Chairman of the Board of License Commissioners shall receive
annually as salary not more than eight hundred dollars
($800.00), said sum to include all expenses incurred by him;
each other member of the Board shall receive annually, as
salaries not more than seven hundred fifty dollars ($750.00),
said sums to include all expenses incurred by them.

(c) BALTIMORE CITY. In Baltimore City, the Chairman of
the Board shall receive an annual salary of five thousand dol-
lars ($5,000.00), and the other members of the Board shall
receive an annual salary of thirty-five hundred dollars
($3,500.00). The Board, shall appoint an Executive Secretary
at a salary of thirty-five hundred dollars ($3,500.00) per
annum.

(d) BALTIMORE COUNTY. In Baltimore County the County
Commissioners of said County shall fix and determine the
salaries of each of the members of said Board of License Com-
missioners in such amounts as it deems reasonable and proper.

(e) CALVERT COUNTY. In Calvert County each of the mem-
bers of the Board shall receive an annual salary of two hun-
dred dollars ($200.00).

(f) CAROLINE COUNTY. In Caroline County each member
of the Board of County Commissioners shall receive from the
license fees imposed under this Article, the sum of one hundred
and fifty dollars ($150.00) per annum for their services as the
Board of License Commissioners.
