bathing beach or amusement park, whether individual, asso-
ciation of individuals, or a corporation, shall without further
residential, voting, locative or property owning qualifications,
be entitled to procure a license for the sale of beer and light
wines (containing not more than 14% alcohol by volume)
within the confines of its beach or park.
(2) The cost for such license shall be $200.00 each calendar
year, payable to the Clerk of the Circuit Court for Anne
Arundel County and shall entitle the holder to sell at one
or more locations within the said beach or park said alco-
holic beverages from 8 A. M. to 12 P. M. on every day from
May 1 to September 30 of the year of issue and from April
1 to April 30 of the next succeeding year.
(3) Such licenses and the licensees thereunder shall be
subject to all laws, rules and regulations applicable in Anne
Arundel County to the sale of beer and light wines, not in-
consistent with the provisions of this sub-section, provided
however that nothing contained in Sub-section (a) of Sec-
tion 25 relating to "Special Sunday Licenses" or nothing
contained in Section 37 shall apply to any license issued
pursuant to this sub-section.
(4) Any licensee qualified to procure this class of license
and who is the holder of any other class or classes of license
issued by authority of the Board of License Commissioners
for Anne Arundel County may with the approval of said
Board exchange the said licenses at any time for a Beach
and Amusement Park License upon payment of the difference
in cost.
(5) Nothing in this sub-section shall apply to the Sixth
District of Anne Arundel County.
26. BALTIMORE CITY, (a) AMUSEMENT LICENSE. In
Baltimore City, (1) The Board of License Commissioners of
Baltimore City may authorize the issuance of an additional
license, to be known as a special amusement license, to the
holders of Class D beer, wine and liquor licenses in Baltimore
City who regularly specialize in the entertainment of their
patrons by providing approved types of amusement such as
singing, dancing, music (other than recorded music or radio
programs), floor shows, acrobatic acts, theatricals or moving
pictures. Such a special license shall authorize the holder
thereof to keep for sale and sell all alcoholic beverages at the
hours provided. The provisions of Section 104 of this Article
shall not apply to such licenses, nor shall the provisions of
Section 105 except that no person under the age of eighteen
shall be employed in such establishments for the sale of alco-
holic beverages.
