SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 483 of Article 43 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland {1939 Edition), title "Health", sub-title "Hair-
dressers and Beauty Culturists", be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
483. (Compensation of Board and Employees.) Each mem-
ber of said Board shall receive Ten Dollars ($10.00) for each
day employed in the actual discharge of his or her official
duties, not to exceed in any one year the sum of $200.00 for
any member of the board, and his or her necessary expenses
so incurred. The compensation and expenses of the members
and officers of said Board, and all expenses, including office
help and professional advice, and services which, in the
opinion of said Board, are proper and necessary to discharge
its duties and to enforce the law, shall be paid out of such
fund upon the approval of the Chairman of said Board. The
salaries shall be paid by the Board at the rate per diem of
actual service herein provided and traveling expenses may
be allowed in the discretion of the board not exceeding Five
Cents per mile. Said Board may also employ a chief inspec-
tor to assist the Board in the discharge of its duties, and
two assistants. The compensation of the chief inspector and
the assistant inspectors shall be as provided in the State
Budget and be payable out of the funds of the Board.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 78
of Article 6 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland
(1930 Edition), title "Caroline County", sub-title "Circuit
Court", to correct an error in said section.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 78 of Article 6 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Caroline County",
sub-title "Circuit Court", be and it is hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
