known as Section 573 and to follow immediately after
Section 572 of said Article, relating to the re-sale of
tickets to high school athletic contests.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
1 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Allegany County", sub-title "Schools", said
section to be known as Section 573, to follow immediately
after Section 572 of said Article, and to read as follows:
573. Any person, association or corporation who re-sells
or offers for re-sale any ticket or other evidence of admission
to any high school athletic contest in Allegany County at a
price greater than the original selling price therefor shall be
guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall
be fined not more than Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00).
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

(House Bill 707)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
115 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Montgomery County
(1939 Edition), being Article 16 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland, title "Montgomery County", sub-
title "Chevy Chase Fire Department", increasing the author-
ized annual levy upon the real and personal property
within the tax area therein described to an amount not
exceeding Twenty-five Cents (25c) on each One Hundred
Dollars ($100.00) of assessable value, and authorizing the
application of so much as may be necessary thereof to
establish a retirement and benefit plan for the paid em-
ployees of the said department.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 115 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Montgomery County (1939 Edition), being Article 16 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Montgomery
County", sub-title "Chevy Chase Fire Department" be and it
is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
