WHEREAS, Chapter 840 of the Acts of 1945 legalized a pro-
posed 1945 Edition of the Code of Public Local Laws of Balti-
more County, which it was impossible to complete because of
clerical and printing difficulties; therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter 840 of the Acts of 1945 be and the same is
hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That the Code of Public
Local Laws of Baltimore County, compiled and edited by
Michael Paul Smith, including re-arranging, re-numbering
and re-titling of certain sub-titles, be and the same is hereby
legalized, and shall be deemed and taken in all the Courts of
the State, and by all Justices of the Peace of the State, and
by all other public officials of the State, to be evidence of the
Public Local Laws of Baltimore County, in existence at the
time of compilation; provided, that before the said 1947 Edi-
tion is published, all Public Local Laws enacted by the General
Assembly of Maryland at its session in 1947, relating to Balti-
more County, shall be incorporated therein.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That the County Com-
missioners of Baltimore County are authorized to have said
Code printed and published and to sell copies thereof at such
prices as to them may seem reasonable; the money received
from the sale of such copies to be paid over to the County
Treasurer of Baltimore County as a part of the public funds
of the said county.
SEC. 4. And be it farther enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

AN ACT to repeal Chapter 203 of the Acts of 1931 relating
to dismantling of a bridge and authorizing construction of
a new bridge across Deep Creek in Baltimore County.
WHEREAS, the provisions of Chapter 203 of the Acts of
1931 are no longer necessary and full authority for the action
therein authorized is vested in the County Commissioners by
other provisions of law, therefore;
