CHAPTER 433.
(House Bill 673)
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 20 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Som-
erset County," sub-title "State's Attorney," said new sec-
tion to be known as Section 392 and to follow immediately
after Section 391 of said Article, providing for allowances
to the State's Attorney for office expenses.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
20 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Somerset County," sub-title "State's Attorney,"
said new section to be known as Section 392 and to follow
immediately after Section 391 of said Article and to read
as follows:
392. From and after June 1, 1947, the County Commis-
sioners of Somerset County shall pay each month to the State's
Attorney of said county the sum of forty-nine dollars and
eighty-five cents, said amount to be used by the State's
Attorney for clerical assistance, stationery and other office
supplies.
SEC, 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

CHAPTER 434.
(House Bill 674)
AN ACT to authorize the Board of Education of Anne
Arundel County from time to time until June 1, 1952,
to borrow on the faith and credit of the County Commis-
sioners of Anne Arundel County for short periods of time
not exceeding Two Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars
($2,500,000.00) in the aggregate in order to facilitate the
financing of the present school construction program for said
County; authorizing and empowering said Board to evidence
said borrowing by the issuance to the lender or lenders of its
