be known as Section 72E, and to follow immediately after
Section 72D of said Article, relating to the making, filing,
and recording of plats for subdivisions of land for town or
villa sites, streets, roads, lanes or alleys, and requiring the
Clerk of the Circuit Court not to receive for record any plat
not bearing Surveyor's Certificate signed and sealed by a
Registered Land Surveyor or a Registered Professional
Engineer and Land Surveyor, and providing that same shall
apply only to Prince George's and Montgomery Counties.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and the same is hereby added to
Article 17 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition),
title "Clerks of Courts", sub-title "Clerks of the Circuit
Courts", said new section to be known as Section 72E, and to
follow immediately after Section 72D of said Article, and to
read as follows:

72E. No plat shall be received by the Clerk of the Circuit
Court for record unless the surveyor's certificate as prescribed
by law has been signed and sealed by a Registered Land Sur-
veyor or a Registered Professional Engineer and Land Sur-
veyor, so registered in the State of Maryland by the State
Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land
Surveyors. Provided, that this section shall apply only to
Montgomery County and Prince George's County.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

(House Bill 660)

AN ACT to authorize the Board of County Commissioners of
Prince George's County to issue bonds to the amount of not
more than Eight Hundred Thousand Dollars ($800,000) for
the purpose of constructing and equipping an addition or
additions to the Prince George's General Hospital and if
deemed desirable to construct and equip a Health Center,
Nurses Training School and an office building for the Health
Department adjacent to said Hospital.
