41. For the purpose of promoting coordination and effec-
tive supervision over the conduct of the State Government,
the following shall constitute an Advisory Council for the
Governor:

The State Comptroller

The State Treasurer

The Attorney General

The Chairman of the State Board of Education

The President of the State Board of Agriculture and of the

University of Maryland
The Director of Correction
The Director of Public Welfare
The Director of Health
The Director of Public Works
The Commissioner of Motor Vehicles
The Police Commissioner of Baltimore City
The Chairman of the Board of Natural Resources.
The Commissioner of State Employment and Registration

The said Advisory Council shall meet with the Governor,
from time to time, for the consideration of general S'tate
policies, finances, departmental and institutional work and
conditions.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

(House Bill 611)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 252, 253 and 254 of Article 21 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition),
title "Talbot County", sub-title "Elections", said sections
relating to the compensation and qualifications of election
officials in Talbot County.

WHEREAS, Chapter 934 of the Acts of 1945 revised the
general election laws of the State and prescribed the compensa-
tion of all election officers in the State, thereby superseding
the above Mentioned local laws; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 252, 253 and 254 of Article 21 of the Code
