CHAPTER 7.
(Senate Bill 90)
AN ACT' to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
102 and 103 of Article 41 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1939 Edition), title "Governor—Executive and Ad-
ministrative Departments", sub-title "Department of Legis-
lative Reference", relating to the compensation of the Di-
rector and employees of the Department and reports to be
submitted to said Department.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 102 and 103 of Article 41 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Governor-
Executive and Administrative Departments", sub-title "De-
partment of Legislative Reference, be and they are hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
102. The Director and employees of the Department of
Legislative Reference shall receive such compensation as shall
be provided in the State Budget and the operating expenses
of the Department shall be as provided in said Budget.
103. It shall be the duty of every officer, board, institution
and commission of the State, including special OP temporary
officers, boards and commissions, to file with the Department
of Legislative Reference two copies of every regular or spe-
cial report issued by him or it, whether such report be in
printed or other form.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
54 of Article 17 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939
Edition), title "Clerks of Courts", sub-title "Clerk of the
Court of Appeals", relating to the compensation of the
clerk and deputy clerks of the Court of Appeals.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 54 of Article 17 of the Annotated Code
