Counties, there shall be endorsed on the new bonds issued
in substitution for such mutilated or destroyed or lost bond
a guaranty identical with the guaranty on such mutilated
or destroyed or lost bond, and such endorsement shall be
signed as provided in Section 994 (1018) of this Article, as
amended.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

CHAPTER 362.
(House Bill 358)

AN ACT to designate the Washington Suburban Sanitary
Commission as the agency authorized to deal with the Fed-
eral Government or any of its agencies in the planning,
construction or operation of any project for flood control
in the Anacostia River Valley within Prince George's
County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission
is hereby designated as the organization in Prince George's
County to cooperate or contract with the Federal Govern-
ment in any matter relating to any projects for flood control
and navigation in the valleys of the Annacostia River and
tributaries within Prince George's County, provided that, be-
fore any such contracts or agreements are entered into with
the Federal Government and before any plans, relating to
flood control projects or maintenance or operation thereof,
are approved, such contracts, agreements, or plans, if relative
to lands within any of the parks and parkways under the
jurisdiction of The Maryland National Capital Park and
Planning Commission, shall be submitted to said Commission
for consideration. No plan shall be approved, nor shall any
contract or agreement be entered into which is inconsistent
with the purposes of the Capper-Cramton Act, Public No. 284,
71st Congress, as amended, or is inconsistent with any agree-
ments between The National Capital Park and Planning Com-
mission and The Maryland-National Capital Park and Plan-
ning Commission related to the park and parkway system,
authorized by said Act.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That any law or laws
inconsistent with the jurisdiction hereby conferred on said
