and it is hereby repeal and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:
199. The State Superintendent of Schools shall certify to
the Comptroller, on or before the first day of December, the
last day of February, May and September, the amounts due on
said dates to the Board of School Commissioners of the City
of Baltimore and to the county boards of education of the
several counties, on account of the part payment by the State
of salaries of county superintendents, Superintendent of
Schools in Baltimore City, supervising teachers and helping
teachers in the City of Baltimore and the several counties,
and of the supervisors of pupil personnel I and II and visiting
teachers in the City of Baltimore and in each of the several
counties. The Comptroller, shall on or before the fifteenth
day of December, the fifth day of March, June and October,
draw his warrant on the Treasurer of the State of Maryland
for the respective amounts due the City of Baltimore and the
treasurers of the county boards of education of the several
counties. On the receipt of the warrant of the Comptroller,
the Treasurer of the State of Maryland shall immediately pay
the respective amounts due the City of Baltimore and the
treasurers of the county boards of education of the several
counties.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 1947.

CHAPTER 321.
(House Bill 63)
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 77 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Public Education",
sub-title "Chapter 19. Source and Distribution of Income",
said new section to follow immediately after Section 199A
of said Article and to be known as Section 199B, to provide
for the distribution of funds to the Counties and Baltimore
City on the basis of pupils in attendance, with certain limi-
tations.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be added to Article 77 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Public Educa-
