CHAPTER 274.
(House Bill 491)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
367 of Article 20 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land (1930 Edition), title "Somerset County", sub-title
"Revenue and Taxes", relating to the office hours of the
Treasurer of Somerset County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 367 of Article 20 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Somerset
County", sub-title "Revenue and Taxes", be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
367. The County Commissioners shall appoint and furnish
the Treasurer an office in the Courthouse for transaction of
his official business which office shall be the County Com-
missioner's office, .and the said office shall be open for that
purpose each day of the year, Sunday and legal holidays ex-
cepted, from 8 o'clock A. M. to 5 P. M., except on Saturdays,
when said office shall be open from 8 A. M. to 12 o'clock noon.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

(House Bill 493)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
216 (a) of Article 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Frederick County", sub-
title "Frederick City", sub-heading ''City Register", as said
section was amended by Chapter 618 of the Acts of 1943,
increasing the compensation of the City Register of Fred-
erick City.
