whenever a request for such restrictions is made by the Water
Engineer of the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore. The
County Commissioners of said counties and the Anne Arundel
County Sanitary Commission are hereby further authorized
and empowered to pass any and all ordinances, resolutions or
regulations that may be necessary for the placing of such re-
strictions and the enforcement thereof, and to provide penal-
ties for the violation of such restrictions.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That any and all public
general laws or public local laws, or any part or parts there-
of, inconsistent with the provisions of this Act are hereby
repealed to the extent of any such inconsistency.
SEC. 3. And 'be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 12
of Article 66A of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939
Edition), title "Moving Pictures", relating to the compensa-
tion of the members of the Maryland State Board of Censors.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 12 of Article 66A of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Moving Pictures", he and
the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:
12. The Board shall provide adequate offices and rooms in
which properly to conduct the work and affairs of the Board
in the City of Baltimore and the State of Maryland, and the
expenses thereof, as well as any other expenses incurred by
said Board in the necessary discharge of its duties, and also
the salaries of the members of the Board, each of whom shall
receive such compensation as shall be provided in the State
Budget.
SEC. 2, And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.
