reached the age of sixty-live (65) years, and place the chau-
ffeurs so retired upon a pension roll and pay him one-half
of his regular monthly salary. No chauffeur shall be retired
before reaching the age of sixty-five (65) until he shall have
been examined by a board of three physicians of the State
Department of Health and its findings as to disability as-
signed as a reason for retirement shall have been certified to
the County Commissioners. This Act shall not apply to the
City of Annapolis.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sub-sec-
tion (Anne Arundel County) of Section 100 of Article 52
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1943 Supplement),
title "Justices of the Peace", sub-title ''Trial Magistrate
System", as said sub-section was amended by Chapter 715
of the Acts of 1945, providing for an additional Trial
Magistrate for Anne Arundel County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sub-section (Anne Arundel County) of Section 100
of Article 52 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1943 Sup-
plement), title "Justices of the Peace", sub-title "Trial
Magistrate System", as said sub-section was amended by
Chapter 715 of the Acts of 1945, be and it is hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
100.
(Anne Arundel County.) There shall be four Trial Magis-
trates, one of whom shall sit in Annapolis and receive
an annual salary of $3,000.00; one of whom shall sit in Fern-
dale and receive an annual salary of $2,500.00; one of whom
shall sit in the first precinct of the Third Election District
and receive an annual salary of f 1,500.00; and one of whom
shall sit in Galesville and receive an annual salary of
$1,500.00.
The Trial Magistrate at Annapolis shall sit on Mondays
from 10 A. M. to 3 P. M. and from 7 P. M. to 9 P. M.,
