SEC. 2. And be it 'further enacted, That Section 154A of
Article 56 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition),
title "Licenses", sub-title "Motor Vehicles", as said section
was amended by Chapter 566 of the Acts of 1945, be and it is
hereby repealed.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

CHAPTER 192.
(House Bill 31)

AN ACT to add a new sub-section to Section 110C of Article
66 1/2 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1943 Supplement),
title "Motor Vehicles", sub-title "Motor Vehicle Financial
Responsibility", as said section was enacted by Chapter 456
of the Acts of 1945, said new sub-section to be known as
Sub-section 5 and to follow immediately after Sub-section 4
of said section, authorizing the Department of Motor Ve-
hicles to extend the suspension date where an operator's
license has been suspended, under certain conditions.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new sub-section be and it is hereby added to
Section 110C of Article 66 1/2 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1943 Supplement), title 'Motor Vehicles", sub-title
"Motor Vehicle Financial Responsibility", as said section was
enacted by Chapter 456 of the Acts of 1945, said new sub-
section to be known as Sub-section 5, to follow immediately
after Sub-section 4 of said section, and to read as follows:

110C.

5. If the Department extends the suspension date and the
Department is hereby authorized, in its discretion, to extend
the suspension date five days when satisfactory evidence has
been presented that final releases are being negotiated to the
satisfaction of all parties.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.
