(b) All public officers, officials, boards, commissions,
bodies and agencies of the State and its counties and mu-
nicipalities and their subdivisions and agencies.

(4) General.

(a) Any other individual, firm, group, corporation,
association, institution, and fund of any nature whatsoever.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That all laws, or
parts of laws, whether Public General or Public Local Laws,
inconsistent with the provisions of this Act, be and they
are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1947.

CHAPTER 183.
(Senate Bill 347)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Chapter
211 of the Acts of 1945, authorizing the County Com-
missioners of Carroll County to levy a sum of money
annually for the Historical Society of Carroll County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland
That Chapter 211 of the Acts of 1945 be and it is hereby
repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:

The County Commissioners of Carroll County are hereby
authorized to levy annually such a sum as they may deem
reasonable or necessary for the use and benefit of the
Historical Society of Carroll County,. Maryland, Inc.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1947.

Approved March 29, 1947.

CHAPTER 184.
(Senate Bill 396)

AN ACT to validate and confirm all licenses issued in Alle-
gany County under Chapter 5 of the Acts of the Special
Session of 1933 for the sale of alcoholic beverages and
continue same in effect until midnight of April 30th, 1947.

WHEREAS, the Court of Appeals of Maryland has today
declared invalid Chapter 5 of the Acts of the Special Session
