house of worship, its pews, seats, walls, windows, shutters,
trees, tombstones, fencing, inclosures or other property
in or belonging thereto, or any parsonage, its furniture,
trees, fencing or inclosures, near and belong to the
same, or shall maliciously cut, disfigure, mutilate, damage,
destroy or otherwise injure any goods, wares, materials
or merchandise intended to be manufactured, made up or
converted into garments, wearing apparel or other articles
of merchandise, and belonging to another person, or shall
maliciously cut, disfigure or otherwise injure any garment,
wearing apparel or other articles of merchandise belong-
ing to another person, or shall cause the same to be done,
or shall by any means cause or incite any person to do the
same, he shall, on conviction before a justice of the peace
or the circuit court for the county or criminal court of
Baltimore, where the said property may be situated, be
deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and fined, in the discre-
tion of the said justice or court, in a sum of money not
more than fifty dollars for any one offense, or be sentenced
to the House of Correction for not more than six months, or
be both fined and imprisoned in the discretion of the court.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That Section 515 of
Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws and Baltimore
City Charter (1938 Edition), title " Baltimore City", sub-
title "Destroying Property Maliciously", be and it is hereby
repealed.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1947.

CHAPTER 178.
(Senate Bill 231)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec-
tion 153 of Article 10 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Dorchester County,"
sub-title "Board of Estimates," as said section was amen-
ded by Chapter 317 of the Acts of 1945, increasing the
amounts which the Board of County Commissioners of
Dorchester County may borrow for certain purposes.
