OFFICE OF THE SECRETARY OF STATE
To the Clerk of the Court of Appeals:
I, JOHN B. FUNK, SECRETARY OF STATE, OF THE STATE OF
MARYLAND, pursuant to the direction contained in Section 194
of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, as revised
by Ch. 934 of 1945, DO HEREBY CERTIFY, That at the General
Election held in this State on Tuesday, November 5,1946, an Act
known as Chapter 659 of the Acts of the General Assembly
of 1945, was submitted to the duly qualified voters of the
State of Maryland, for their adoption or rejection, said Act
being:
An Act to propose an amendment to Section 1 (c) of Ar-
ticle 11B of the Constitution of Maryland, title "Bal-
timore Redevelopment Commission", relating to the
use of the power of eminent domain, and to provide for
the submission of said Amendment to the qualified
voters for adoption or rejection.
AND I DO CERTIFY, That at said election 100,687 votes were
cast in favor of the adoption of Chapter 659 of the Acts of
1945, and 40,035 votes were cast against the adoption of said
Act, and a majority being cast for the adoption thereof, it was
therefore ratified by the voters of the State of Maryland.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, I have hereunto sub-

Official Seal, at the City of Annapolis, this
20th day of May, in the year of our Lord
