after the adjournment of the Legislature, either having

lature or not in sufficient time to require executive action

AIRPORT
HOUSE BILL 308
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 1A of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Aeronautics", sub-
title "Airports", to be known as Section 41A and to follow
immediately after Section 41 of said Article, as amended by
Chapter 956 of the Acts of 1945, relating to the establish-
ment of airports in Prince George's County.
The General Law gives full authority and control over the
establishment of airports to the Aviation Commission at the
State level, and to the Civil Aeronautics Administration at
the Federal level.
As a local measure, this bill sets a bad precedent for the
orderly development of aviation, and will therefore be vetoed.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
HOUSE BILL 490

Maryland, being designated as Section 423 of Higinbothom's
Code of Public Local Laws of Harford County, title "Har-
ford County", sub-title "Liquors and Intoxicating Drinks",
as said section was amended by Chapter 429 of the Acts of
1945, providing for the issuance of beer and wine licenses.
