transportation shall be provided by the Board of Education,
as aforesaid, for all the children attending schools described
herein, upon the" same terms and conditions as now are or as
may be hereafter established by the Board of Education of
Prince George's County for children attending public schools.

1232. (b) The County Commissioners of Prince George's
County are hereby authorized to levy and appropriate annu-
ally sufficient funds to defray any costs incurred by it in
carrying into effect the provisions of Section 1232 (a) and
for the establishment of new bus routes for transporting chil-
dren to and from the public schools of said County, if in
their discretion the Board of Education of Prince George's
County and the County Commissioners of said county deem
it desirable to establish new routes, and to purchase additional
buses, for such 'transportation. The transportation of chil-
dren to and from schools not receiving State aid shall be
upon such reasonable terms and conditions as the Board of
Education may from time to time determine, but in no event
shall the amount charged children attending such schools
for using said buses or conveyances be greater or less than
the amount charged children attending the public schools
for the same kind of transportation.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

CHAPTER 911.
(House Bill 440)

AN ACT to authorize, empower and direct the County Com-
missioners of Howard County to retire and pension Edward
D. Hilton, the Court House janitor, in said county, and to
pay said pension out of the general revenue of the county.

WHEREAS, Edward D. Hilton has served with fidelity and
efficiency as Court House janitor, at the Court House in
Ellicott City, for the past thirty-five years, and is entitled to
retirement and pension; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the Board of County Commissioners of Howard
County be, and they are hereby authorized, empowered and
