tered if necessary, and to do all things necessary to carry
out the purposes of this- Act, even though the same may not
be specifically mentioned herein or in any other Act relating
to said county.
SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That before any bonds
shall be issued and sold pursuant to this Act, the question
of such issue shall first be raised by the taxpayers on real
property in any sewerage or drainage district or area in
Montgomery County affected by the issuance of said bonds.
Said petition shall conform with the provisions of Section
1016 of the Montgomery County Code relating to the same,
and if it shall be determined thereby that said bonds shall be
duly issued, upon the sale of the same the Board of County
Commissioners of Montgomery County shall at once proceed
to construct and establish the said sewerage and drainage
systems.
SEC. 6. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1. 1947.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 741 to 751 of the Montgomery
County Code (1930 Edition—being Article 16 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland), title "Montgomery Coun-
ty", sub-title "Northwest Park", relating to the Village of
Northwest Park, Montgomery County, Maryland, and to
authorize and direct the Treasurer of the Village of North-
west Park to pay over to the County Treasurer of Mont-
gomery County all funds belonging to the said village which
are either in the hands of or are to be paid to the said
Treasurer thereof, said funds to be disposed of in the discre-
tion of the Board of County Commissioners of Montgomery
County for the benefit of the area formerly embraced by the
Village of Northwest Park.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 741 to 751 of the Montgomery County Code
(1939 Edition—being Article 16 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland), title "Montgomery County", sub-title
"Northwest Park", relating to the Village of Northwest Park,
