It shall be lawful in the waters of Washington and Frederick
Counties for any resident of this State who has secured a
resident anglers license to use bush-bobs or bank-poles (not
exceeding a total of twenty-five (25) in all and not exceeding
one (1) hook to a pole or bob). It shall be unlawful to use
bush-bobs or bank-poles on any stream stocked with trout.
It shall be unlawful to use any bush-bob or bank-pole which
has been baited with scale bait or live bait to catch suckers,
catfish, carp, eels, and gudgeons.
No person shall use a bush-bob or bank-pole except between
the hours of sunset and sunrise.
It shall be lawful in the waters of the Potomac River in
Montgomery County for any resident of this State who has
secured a resident anglers license to catch shad by use of a
dip net between April 1 and June 10, both dates inclusive.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

(House Bill 829)
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 11 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Fred-
erick County", sub-title "Roads", said new section to be
known as Section 711 and to follow immediately after
Section 710 of said Article, relating to shooting upon or
over any road or public highway and upon or over any body
of water or watercourse in Frederick County.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be and it is hereby added to Article
11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edi-
tion), title "Frederick County", sub-title "Roads", said new
section to be known as Section 711, to follow immediately
after Section 710 of said Article, and to read as follows:
711. It shall be unlawful for anyone to fire a gun, pistol
or other firearm upon or over any road or public highway in
Frederick County. It shall be unlawful for any one to fire a
pistol or a rifle upon or over any body of water or water course
situate in whole or in part in said county. Anyone violating
any of the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a mis-
