District" than shall vote "Against Approval of the Creation
of a Special Taxing District", the provision of this Act shall
become effective and operative immediately.
SEC. 12. And be it further enacted:
(A) That immediately upon the provisions of this Act
becoming effective as provided in Section 11 hereof, Messrs...
Samuel S. Smith, Calvin R. Ayers, J. Frederick Walton,
George .T. Steigerwald, Clement C. May, Evans L. Feltner,
Ernest E. McCollough, Harold E. Northrup and Ellsworth
F. Brewer shall constitute and be the Bowling Green Board
of Managers until their successors shall have been chosen
as provided in Section 4 of this Act, and shall have quali-
fied as provided in said section.
(B) That, within ten (10) days (including Sundays and
holidays), after the provisions of this Act become effective,
as provided in Section 11 thereof, each of the nine members
of the Board of Managers named in Paragraph A of this sec-
tion shall qualify as such by taking the oath of office as pro-
vided in Section 4 of this Act.
(C) That if any person named as a member of The Board
of Managers in Paragraph A of this Section shall fail to qual-
ify as provided in Paragraph B of this section or in case a
vacancy in the office of a member of said Board of Managers
shall exist or occur as a result of death, resignation or other-
wise, the remaining qualified members of the Board shall
appoint a person as member who is eligible for the office un-
der the provisions of Section 4 of this Act. Any person so
appointed a member of the Board of Managers shall qualify
as such member by taking the oath of office as provided in
Section 4 of this Act.
(D) That the Bowling Green Board of Managers shall keep
a record of all its members, which record shall state (1) the
full name of each members, (2) when he was appointed or
elected, (3) when he qualified by taking the oath of office,
(4) when he ceased to be such member, and the reason there-
for, whether by expiration of his office, death, resignation or
otherwise.
SEC. 13 And be it further enacted, That this Act is here-
by declared to be a Public Act, and may be used in evidence
in all Courts of this State without proof thereof.
SEC. 14. And be it further enacted, That all Acts and
parts of Acts inconsistent with any of the provisions of this
Act are hereby repealed.
