"Increased Property Tax Rate", and a corresponding square
or box to the right of and opposite the words "Against In-
creased Property Tax Rate", so that the voters shall be able to
designate by a cross mark in the proper square or box his
or her decision for or against said proposed increased prop-
erty tax rate. If a majority of the votes cast on said ques-
tion shall be "For Increased Property Tax Rate", then this
Act shall become immediately effective. If a majority of the
votes cast thereon shall be "Against Increased Property Tax
Rate", then this Act shall be null and void and of no effect
whatsoever.

SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

CHAPTER 851.
(House Bill 778)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
545 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title
"Prince George's County", sub-title "Election Districts",
changing the boundaries between the Nineteenth and Twenty-
first Election Districts by transferring from the Nineteenth
Election District (Riverdale) to the Twenty-first Election
District (Berwyn) the area included in that part of the
Town of College Park as described in Chapter 1051 of the
Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, 1945 Session,
lying between the present southern boundary of the Twenty-
first Election District and the northern boundary of the
property of the Engineering Research Corporation and the
northern boundary of the R. M. Calvert, et al., Estate, now
known as Calvert Homes.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 545 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland, title "Prince George's County", sub-title "Election
Districts", be and the same is hereby repealed and re-enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

545. The said Election District so created shall be bounded
on the north by the present boundary lines between the First
and the Twenty-first Election Districts of said county; on the
