CHAPTER 837.
(House Bill 745)
AN ACT to add a new section to Article 18 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland of 1930, title "Queen Anne's
County", sub-title "Centreville", to follow after Section 44
and to be designated as Section 44A, and providing for the
extension of the limits of the Town of Centreville and
relating to the taxation of the property included within
said town limits by this Act.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new section be added to Article 18 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland of 1930, title "Queen Anne's
County", sub-title "Centreville'', to follow after Section 44 and
to be designated as Section 44A, providing for the extension
of the limits of the Town of Centreville, and to read as follows:
44A. The corporate limits of the Town of Centreville, Queen
Anne's County, Maryland, in addition to the boundaries of
said town as now established, shall, from and after June 1,
1947, include all the lands embraced in the following limits,
to wit:
Beginning for the same at a point in the center of the high-
way bridge or culvert over Three Bridge Branch on the Centre-
vilie-Church Hill State Road (Route No. 213) and running
(1) Thence by and with the Northerly line of the Boy Scout
Lot South 88° 42' East 262.00 feet to a stone set at the North-
easterly corner of the aforesaid lot and in the line of lands
of C. Gilbert. Blades and The Rhodes Farm;
(2) Thence by and with the line of lands of the said Blades
and Rhodes South 82° 32' East 315.30 feet to a point in the
line of lands of Charles S. Quimby;
(3) Thence by and with the line of lands of the said Blades
and Quimby South 03° 40' East 2341.50 feet to the center of
the Centreville-Carvell State Road;
(Note: This point being marked by a granite stone set on
the Blades-Quimby line North 03° 40' West 25.00 feet from
the aforesaid point.)
(4) Thence by and with the line of lands of the said Quimby
and C. Percy Arrington South 02° 06' East 1572.50 feet to a
fence post;
(5) Thence continuing with the said Quimby and Arrington
lands South 29° 55' West 537.50 feet to! the center of the
Pennsylvania Railroad track;
