enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
1130. The messenger of the Orphans' Court for said county
shall receive five dollars per diem for each day of his attend-
ance at the sessions of said Court.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
464 of Article 4 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land and Baltimore City Charter (1938 Edition), title
"Baltimore City", sub-title "Orphans' Court", as said Sec-
tion 464 was amended by Chapter 669 of the Acts of 1945,
relating to the compensation of the Bailiffs of the Orphans'
Court of Baltimore City.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 464 of Article 4 of the Code of Public
Laws of Maryland and Baltimore City Charter (1938 Edi-
tion), title "Baltimore City", sub-title "Orphans' Court", as
said Section 464 was amended by Chapter 669 of the Acts
of 1945, be and it is hereby repealed and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:
464. The Bailiffs of the said Orphans' Court of Baltimore
City shall receive a salary of not less than Twenty-eight Hun-
dred Dollars ($2,800) nor more than Thirty-five Hundred Dol-
lars ($3,500) per annum, payable in monthly installments at
the end of each and every month by the Mayor and City Coun-
cil of Baltimore, said salary to be determined and certified
to by the Judges of the Orphans' Court of Baltimore City.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.
