the Acts of 1931, as amended, or for the redemption thereof,
such moneys to be used by said Commission for the payment
of the interest, principal or redemption of said bonds.
SEC. 4. And be it further enacted, That nothing in this
Act shall be construed to impair the negotiability of bonds,
notes or other indebtednesses issued under the provisions of
Chapter 394 of the Acts of 1931, as amended, or to impair
in any manner the validity of such obligations or the security
therefor.
SEC. 5. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

AN ACT to repeal Sections 389, 389A, 390A, 390C, 390D, as
enacted by Chapter 270, of the Acts of the General As-
sembly of Maryland of 1937; Section 390, as enacted by
Chapter 243 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land of 1939; Sections 389B, 389C, 390B, as enacted by
Chapter 656, of the Acts of the General Assembly of Mary-
land of 1945, title "Wicomico County", sub-title "Sheriff",
and to add ten new sections to Article 23 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Wicomico County", sub-title "Sheriff", to be known as
Sections 389, 389A, 389B, 389C, 389D, 389E, 389P, 390,
390A, 390B.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, that Sections 389, 389A, 390A, 390C, 390D, as said
Sections were enacted by Chapter 270 of the Acts of the
General Assembly of Maryland, 1937, Section 390, as said
section was enacted by Chapter 243 of the Acts of the Gen-
eral Assembly of Maryland, 1939, Sections 389B, 389C, 390B,
as said sections were enacted by Chapter 656 of the Acts of
the General Assembly of Maryland, 1945, title "Wicomico
County", sub-title "Sheriff", be and they are hereby repealed
and that ten new sections be and they are hereby added to
Article 23 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title "Wicomico County", sub-title "Sheriff", to
follow immediately after Section 388 of said Article, to be-
