SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That a new sub-title and a new section be and they
are herey added to Article 20 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Somerset County'',
said new sub-title to be known as "Baseball", and said new
section to be known as Section 18A, both the new sub-title
and the new section to follow immediately after Section 18
of said Article and to read as follows:
BASEBALL.
18A. It shall be unlawful for anyone to engage in any
capacity in the game of baseball in Deal's Island Election
District No. 14, in Somerset County, on Sunday; and any-
one violating this Act shall, upon conviction before any
Justice of the Peace for said county, be fined a sum of
Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) for each offense and stand com-
mitted to the county jail until said fine and costs are paid.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the imme-
diate preservation of the public health and safety, and having
been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by three-fifths
of all the members elected to each of the two Houses of the
General Assembly of Maryland, the same shall take effect from
the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
603 and 605 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince
George's County (Flack's Edition, 1943), title "Fire Com-
panies", as enacted by Chapter 372 of the Acts of 1943,
increasing the annual appropriation for the Prince George's
County Volunteer Fire Association.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 603 and 605 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Prince George's County (Flack's Edition, 1943), title
"Fire Companies", as enacted by Chapter 372 of the Acts of
1943, increasing the annual appropriation for the Prince
George's County Volunteer Fire Association, be, and the same
are hereby, repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
