immediate preservation of the public health and safety, and
having been passed by a yea and nay vote, supported by three-
fifths of all of the members elected to each of the two Houses
of the General Assembly, the same shall take effect from the
date of its passage.

CHAPTER 770.
(House Bill 484)
AN ACT to repeal Section 60A of Article 1 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (as enacted by Chapter 331
of the Laws of Maryland of 1935), title "Allegany County",
sub-title "Circuit Court", which section provides for the
recording of plats for the sub-division of land in Allegany
County, among the Land Records of said County, and pre-
scribes rules and regulations, under which land in said
County may be subdivided into streets, alleys, lots and
blocks.
SECTION 1. Re it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 60A of Article 1 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (as enacted by Chapter 331 of the
Laws of Maryland of 1935), title "Allegany County", sub-title
"Circuit Court", be and the same is hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

CHAPTER 771.
(House Bill 496)
AN ACT to add a new sub-title and a new section to Article
20 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930
Edition), title Somerset County", said new sub-title to be
known as "Baseball", and said new section to be known as
Section 18A, both the new sub-title and the new section
to follow immediately after Section 18 of said Article,
relating to the playing of baseball in Deal's Island Elec-
tion District No. 14 on Sunday.
