97. (Further Restrictions in Non-Tidal Waters.) It
shall be lawful to fish with rod and line, not to exceed two
in number and not more than two hooks to each line, pro-
vided artificial lures or plugs with multiple or gang hooks
are considered one unit.
It shall be lawful to use a slat basket commonly known
as the Chesapeake Bay Eel Pot for the purpose of catch-
ing eels.
It shall be lawful during the open season for any resident
of this State who has secured a resident angler's license
to fish by the use of a dip net in the waters of the Susque-
hanna River in Cecil and Harford Counties and in the waters
of Allegany, Washington, and Frederick Counties; provided,
however, it shall be unlawful for any person to use a dip net
in any of the waters of this State which have been stocked
with trout.
It shall be lawful in the waters of the Potomac and
Monocacy rivers, within Montgomery, Carroll, Washington,
and Frederick Counties for any resident of this State who
has secured a resident angler's license to use bush-bobs or
bank-poles (not exceeding a total of twenty-five (25) in all
and not exceeding one (1) hook to a pole or bob). It shall be
unlawful to use bush-bobs or bank-poles on any stream stocked
with trout.
It shall be unlawful to use any bush-bob or bank-pole which
has been baited with scale bait or live bait to catch suckers,
catfish, carp, eels, gudgeons, and all species of sunfish, in-
cluding bluegills, rock bass, commonly known as red-eye.
No person shall use a bush-bob or bank-pole except between
the hours of sunset and sunrise.
98. (Creel and Possession Limits.) It shall be unlawful
for any person to take, catch, kill, attempt to kill, or have
in possession more than 10 of large or small mouth bass;
brown, brook, or rainbow trout; shad, including hickory
shad (herring) ; Susquehanna salmon (wall-eyed pike or
pickerel), or striped bass (rock) in any one day; or more
than 15 suckers or perch (white or yellow) in one day.
Any of the above species of fish caught and returned alive to
the waters shall not be considered for the purpose of this
section as having been either taken, caught, or had in
possession.
It shall be unlawful to take, catch, or kill any species
of fish from any stream or non-tidal waters which have
been stocked with trout except during the legal open sea-
son for the taking of trout. Regardless of the manner in
