SEC. 3. And Be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

CHAPTER 121.
(House Bill 39)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
95, 97, 98, 99 and 102 of Article 99 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1943 Supplement), title "Birds, Game and
Inland Water Fish," sub-title "Regulations for Taking of
Game and Fresh Water Fish in Non-Tidal Waters," pre-
scribing the open season and creel and possession limits
for certain fish, imposing further restrictions as to the
catching of certain fish, reducing size of certain fish, pro-
hibiting non-residents from fishing with nets in non-tidal
waters, eliminating certain provisions and prescribing
penalties for the violation of said sub-title.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 95, 97, 98, 99 and 102 of Article 99 of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1943 Supplement), title
"Birds, Game and Inland Water Fish," sub-title "Regula-
tions for Taking of Game and Fresh Water Fish in Non-
Tidal Waters," be and the same are hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

95. (Open Seasons.) The open season for taking of game
and fresh water fish in non-tidal waters shall be as follows:
Large and Small Mouth Bass.........July 1 to November 30.

Susquehanna Salmon, Pike or Pickerel, July 1 to November 30.

Striped Bass (commonly known
as Rock) ........................June 1 to November 30.

Brook, Brown, and Rainbow Trout.......April 15 to July 15.

Shad, Hickory Shad, and Herring........March 15 to June 20.

Suckers, Catfish, Carp, Eels, Gudgeons, all species of
Sunfish, including Bluegill, Rock Bass, commonly
known as Red-eye, Fallfish.... February 15 to November 30.

All other species of Game or Fresh Water Fish,

July 1 to November 30.
