1778 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [CH. 727

Taxing District" as said district was created by Sections 423 A
and 423 B of Article 2 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition) as enacted by Chapter 271 of the Acts
of 1941, for the purpose of constructing, reconstructing,main-
taining and repairing sidewalks, curbs and gutters adjacent
to the public highways, streets and roads in the said "Bev-
erley Beach Roads and Taxing District", and shall expend not
less than 50% of the proceeds of the said levy for the construc-
tion, re-construction, repair and maintenance of the roads,
highways and streets of said special roads and taxing district
and any portion of said moneys not expended for the afore-
said purposes in any year shall be carried forward to the next
year and accumulated from year to year until expended for
the aforesaid purposes, and all laws or parts of laws inconsis-
tent herewith are repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

CHAPTER 727.
(House Bill 339)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
110A and 111 A of Article 39 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1943 Supplement), title "Fish and Fisheries",
sub-title "Crabs", to permit taking of crabs in Anne Arun-
del County with crab seines not exceeding fifty feet in
length.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 110A and 111A of Article 39 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1943 Supplement), title "Fish and
Fisheries", sub-title "Crabs", be and they are hereby repealed
and re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

110A. The Commission of Tidewater Fisheries is hereby
empowered to make such rules and regulations and to modify
the same, from time to time, to restrict the taking or catching
of crabs, the possession thereof, or the methods by which same
may be taken; to close or open any specified area for the tak-
ing or catching of crabs, to prohibit or restrict devices used
for the taking or catching of crabs and to establish seasons
for taking same; to establish minimum size limits for hard,
