of the program in Baltimore City shall be administered, under
the Commissioner of Health of the City, by a Medical Care
Section in the Baltimore City Health Department in accord-
ance with plans that shall be prepared by the Baltimore City
Health Department and submitted to and approved by the
State Board of Health; and for these purposes the Commis-
sioner of Health of Baltimore City is hereby authorized to
contract with physicians, dentists, hospitals, or other ac-
credited agencies for the medical, surgical, hospital or other
medical or nursing care of eligible persons; and also to appoint
such personnel as may be necessary within the provisions of
the Budget and in accordance with the provisions of the Balti-
more City Charter.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

AN ACT to repeal Chapter 646 of the Acts of 1943 relating
to licensing of trailers in Baltimore County.

WHEREAS, the essential provisions of Chapter 046 of the
Acts of 1943 have been held unconstitutional by the Court
of Appeals of Maryland; therefore

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Chapter 646 of the Acts of 1943 be and the same
is hereby repealed.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.
