game (waterfowl and fur-bearing animals excepted); or to
export or ship any game out from the limits of one county
to another or to any City of this State except a licensed
hunter, either resident or non-resident may take out with
him as personal baggage in the open two days' bag limit
as provided by law. It shall be unlawful for any person
to have more than two days' bag limit of any species in
possession and it shall be unlawful for any express company
or any common carrier to knowingly accept any such game
(waterfowl and fur-bearing animals excepted), for shipment
without any county, city or town of the State. Any person
desiring to ship out of this State any waterfowl shall ship
same out in the open tied by head or feet and tagged ac-
cordingly, or in a container slatted so the birds are visible.
(b) A licensed hunter who has procured a hunter's li-
cense in Maryland for the year in which he desires to
take out, and who has hunted in State and killed game
may take out as personal baggage in the open two days'
bag limit as provided by law but he must produce his hunt-
ing license as herein provided upon request of any person.
(c) Any person desiring to ship or take out of State any
waterfowl killed by him shall not ship or take out more than
two days' bag limit in any one calendar week.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sections
81 and 83 of Article 99 of the Annotated Code of Mary-
land (1943 Supplement), title "Birds, Game and Inland
Water Fish," sub-titles "State Game Eefuges and Hunt-
ing Grounds," and "Elk and Deer," changing the sub-title
"Elk and Deer" to "Deer", eliminating the word "elk" from
Section 83, making it unlawful to trespass on game and
fish refuges and clarifying the provisions of said sections.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 81 and 83 of Article 99 of the Anno-
tated Code of Maryland (1943 Supplement), title "Birds,
