(c) Any operator, manager, teacher, student, apprentice
or demonstrator who shall practice the occupation of beauty
culture while knowingly suffering from contagious or in-
fectious disease, or who shall knowingly serve any person
afflicted with such disease, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor,
and, upon conviction thereof, shall be sentenced to pay a
fine of not less than Ten Dollars ($10.00) nor more than
Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00).
(d) Any operator, manager, teacher, student, apprentice or
demonstrator, who shall infect any person, or who shall im-
part any contagious or infectious disease, by reason of care-
lessness or negligence in the practice of such occupation,
shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and, upon conviction,
shall be sentenced to pay a fine not exceeding Five Hun-
dred Dollars ($500.00), or to undergo an imprisonment not
exceeding six months or both, in the discretion of the court.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.

CHAPTER 705.
(House Bill 93)
AN ACT to repeal Sections 93 to 96, inclusive, of Article 56
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title
"Licenses", sub-title "Miscellaneous", said sections relating
to misrepresentation of minors to obtain alcoholic bev-
erages.
WHEREAS, Sections 463 to 466 of Article 27 are similar
to those in the above-mentioned sections, thereby rendering
said sections unnecessary; therefore
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Sections 93 to 96, inclusive, of Article 56 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Licenses",
sub-title "Miscellaneous", be and they are hereby repealed.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall take
effect June 1, 1947.
