1704 LAWS OF MARYLAND. [CH. 693

CHAPTER 693.

(Senate Bill 493)

AN ACT to repeal Section 771 of Article 11 of the Code
of Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930), title "Fred-
erick County", sub-title "Thurmont", and to enact in
lieu thereof a new Section, said new Section to be known
as Section 771 and to follow immediately after Section
770 of said Article, revising the corporate bounds of the
Town of Thurmont, Frederick County.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland
That Section 771 of Article 11 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), be and the same is
hereby repealed, and a new Section to be known as Section
771, to follow immediately after Section 770 of said Ar-
ticle, and to read as follows:

771. The corporate bounds of said town for all pur-
poses except taxation by the laws of the corporation, shall
be as follows: Beginning at a concrete monument at the
junction of the east side of State Road No. 550 leading
from Thurmont to Creagerstown and on the south side of
State Road No. 77 leading to Rocky Ridge. Thence, by
true bearing, across the lands of Albaugh and Powell,
south seventy-three degrees, thirty minutes west, a dis-
tance of 3997.5 ft. to a monument placed along the west
edge of the H. and F. Railroad right-of-way about two-
hundred feet from the south side of old Hagerstown road;
thence, across the lands of Lakin Moser, north seventy-
three degrees, twenty-eight minutes west, a distance of
2626.8 ft. to the east edge of the road leading from Thur-
mont to Frederick (U. S. Route No. 15), said monument
being located near a small stream; thence, across the lands
of J. Hooker Lewis, north nineteen degrees, thirty minutes
west, a distance of 4187.0 ft. to a concrete marker located
near an old cherry tree; thence, along the lands of the Rec-
reational Demonstration Projects, Catoctin Area, Fred-
erick County, Maryland, tract No. 80A, Option No. 2, as
shown on drawing No. 3L D-MD4, dated June 11, 1936,
drawing No. AC-42, the following eleven courses and
distances: North fifty-nine degrees, twenty-eight minutes
west, a distance of 290.4 ft.; thence, north seventy-two
degrees, thirteen minutes west, a distance of 115.5 ft.;
thence, north eighteen degrees, seventeen minutes east,
a distance of 198.0 ft.; thence, north seventy-four de-
grees, twenty-eight minutes west, a distance of 356.4 ft.;
