tration, or any person who shall falsely impersonate any
other registrant of like or different name, or any person
who shall attempt to use an expired or revoked certificate
of registration, or any person who shall violate any of the
provisions of this Act, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor,
and shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay a fine of
not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00), nor more than
five hundred dollars ($500.00), or suffer imprisonment for
a period not exceeding three months, or both.
The Attorney General of the State, or his assistant, shall
act as legal adviser of the Board and render such legal
assistance as may be necessary in carrying out the pro-
visions of this Act.
21.
(b) (Non-Residents.) The practice of a person not a
resident of and having no established place of business in
this State, practicing or offering to practice herein the pro-
fession of engineering or land surveying, when such prac-
tice does not exceed in the aggregate thirty days in any
calendar year; provided, such person is legally qualified
by registration to practice the said profession in his own
State or County in which the requirements and qualifica-
tions for obtaining a certificate of registration are not
lower than those specified in this Article; or
(g) Officers and Employees of Industrial Corporations
or Organizations. The work, or practice of engineering, by
officers or employees engaged in manufacturing, or in in-
dustrial processes, or in industrial engineering, or in the
maintenance and repair of structures or equipment used
in such manufacturing or industrial processes, in the
plants owned or leased by such corporations or organiza-
tions.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1947.
