be printed on said ballots so as to give the voters a clear
opportunity to designate by a cross (X) in a square or
box opposite each of said groups of words, his answer to
said questions.
If a majority of voters voting at said election shall vote
"For Sunday Motion Pictures", then it shall be lawful for
Motion Pictures to continue to be exhibited under the
provisions of this Act, but if a majority of said voters
voting at said election shall vote "Against Sunday Motion
Pictures", then the exhibition of Motion Pictures on Sun-
day shall be unlawful, on and after June 15, 1948.
SEC. 3. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1947.

CHAPTER 115.
(House Bill 1)
AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 48
of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edi-
tion), title "Elections", sub-title "Nominations and Pri-
maries", as said Article was enacted by Chapter 934 of the
Acts of 1945, relating to the time for filing as a candidate
for nomination by primaries.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Section 48 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Elections", sub-title "Nomi-
nations and Primaries", as said Article was enacted by Chapter
934 of the Acts of 1945, be and it is hereby repealed and re-
enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:
48. Official ballots shall be prepared and printed for such
primary elections in Baltimore City and in the several counties,
respectively, by the said several Boards of Supervisors of
Elections for said City and said several counties, respectively,
as is now provided by this Article for general elections, except
as otherwise provided for in this sub-title, and except that on
the back and outside of all such official ballots shall be printed
only the words "Official Ballot For", followed by the designa-
tion of the county, congressional, legislative or councilmanic
district of Baltimore City or other district, as the case may
