SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sub-section (o) of Section 12, of Article 72 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Oys-
ters and Clams", sub-title "Private Oyster Culture", as
said Article was codified by Chapter 929 of the Acts of
1945, be and it is hereby repealed, and re-enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

(o) Marking of Leased Land. Each lessee, immedi-
ately upon completion of a lease, shall cause the land desig-
nated as leased to him to be plainly marked out by stakes,
buoys or monuments, under the supervision of the Depart-
ment of Tidewater Fisheries; at least four of such stakes,
buoys or monuments shall have the initials of the lessee
plainly marked upon them. Reasonable diligence shall be
exercised by the lessee to maintain such buoys or stakes
but the temporary loss or destruction of any such buoys
or stakes shall not operate to permit any unauthorized
person to tresspass upon such leased areas or to remove,
destroy, or disturb oysters thereon.

In any action at law involving an alleged trespasser on
any such leased lands where such buoys or stakes have been
so lost or destroyed, the Court shall not impose any penalty
upon such alleged violator, for such alleged violation, if
the Court shall determine as a fact that said alleged tres-
pass was accidental, unwitting and unintentional.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1947.

CHAPTER 113.
(Senate Bill 175)

AN ACT to add seven new sections to Article 27 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title
"Crimes and Punishments", to be under a new sub-title
"Destitute Children", said new sections to be known
as Sections 97A to 97G, inclusive, and to follow imme-
diately after Section 97 of said Article, as said Section
97 was amended by Chapter 114 of the Acts of 1945,
relating to the support of destitute adult children by
their parents.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That seven new sections be and they are hereby added to
