Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Lunatics and In-
sane," sub-title "Crownsville State Hospital," be and they
are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:
62. The said board of managers of the Crownsville
State Hospital shall consist of the governor, ex officio,
state treasurer, comptroller of the treasury, for the time
being, and six other persons, and the board so created
shall constitute a body corporate under the title of the
Crownsville State Hospital, and shall have power to make
such by-laws, rules and regulations, not inconsistent with
the law, as it may deem necessary and proper for
the public welfare and the best interests of the institution
and its inmates, and shall have the power to appoint neces-
sary officers and agents, and shall make an annual report
of its proceedings to the governor of the State, who shall
submit the same, with such recommendations as he may
deem proper, to the general assembly at its next session
thereafter.
63. From and after June 1, 1947, the members of the
Board of Managers of the Crownsville State Hospital shall
continue in office until the expiration of their respective
terms. Thereafter, the Governor shall biennially appoint,
by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, two per-
sons as their successors for terms of six years and until
their successors have qualified. In the case of any va-
cancy, from whatever cause, the Governor shall appoint a
person for the balance of the unexpired term.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1947.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sub-
section (o) of Section 12, of Article 72 of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1939 Edition), title "Oysters and
Clams", sub-title "Private Oyster Culture", as said
Article was codified by Chapter 929 of the Acts of 1945,
relating to the marking of leased areas and to trespassers
thereon.
