and become due, said taxes to be collected as other taxes
levied in said County are collected.

SEC. 11. And be it further enacted, That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency law and necessary
for the immediate preservation of the public health and
safety and being passed by a yea and nay vote supported
by three-fifths (3/5) of all the members elected to each
of the two Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 633.
(Senate Bill 271)

AN ACT to repeal Sections 123 to 127, inclusive, and
Section 127A of Article 11 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Frederick
County", sub-title "Roads", as said Section 123 was
amended by Chapter 80 of the Acts of 1941, and as
said Sections 124 to 127, inclusive, and Section 127A
were enacted by Chapter 695 of the Acts of 1939, and
to enact in lieu thereof six new sections to be known
as Sections 123 to 127A, inclusive, relating to the County
Roads Board for Frederick County and prescribing its
duties and powers.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That sections 123 to 127, inclusive, and Sections 127A
of Article 11 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Mary-
land (1930 Edition), title "Frederick County", sub-title
"Roads", as said Section 123 was amended by Chapter 80
of the Acts of 1941, and as said Sections 124 to 127,
inclusive, and Section 127A were enacted by Chapter 695
of the Acts of 1939, be and they are hereby repealed
and that six new sections to be known as Sections 123 to
127A, inclusive, be and they are hereby enacted in lieu
thereof, and all to read as follows:

123. A County Roads Board for Frederick County is
hereby created. The Board shall consist of eight (8)
members, five of whom shall serve without salary for a
term beginning May 1,1946, and which shall be constituted
as follows: James D. Adams for a term of one year;
