with the center line of said alley running between West
Pine Street and West Walnut Street north 81 degrees and
55 minutes west one hundred and seventy-four (174) feet
to a stake on the west side of Park Street; thence north 9
degrees and 50 minutes east four hundred and ninety-six
feet along the west side of Park Street to a concrete post
at the intersection of the south side of Chestnut Street;
thence north 10 degrees and 43 minutes east ten hundred
and eighty-two feet to a stake on the Delaware and Mary-
land Division Line; thence by and with said division line
in an easterly direction seven hundred and forty-seven
feet to the place of beginning.
All persons resident and property of every kind and
character, including farm lands, situate within the terri-
tory which by this Act is included within the limits of the
Town of Delmar, are hereby made subject to taxation for
local town purposes at the full town rate as fixed by said
Commissioners of Delmar; provided, however, that the
Commissioners of Delmar shall have full discretion to
exempt from taxation any farm land or farm building,
exclusive of a dwelling house, within the Town of Delmar
provided that such land is used exclusively for agricultural
purposes and not merely for gardening as an incident to
a place of residence, and is owned and used by a bona fide
farmer in the pursuit of his livelihood.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted by the General
Assembly of Maryland, That this Act shall take effect
June 1, 1947.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments, Section
46 of Article 23 of the Code of Public Local Laws of
Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Wicomico County",
sub-title "Delmar", relating to the passage of ordinances
by the Commissioners of Delmar.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 46 of Article 23 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Wicomico
