inconsistency; but all laws repealed by this sub-title shall
nevertheless remain in force in respect to any and all tax
sales made or instituted prior to the effective date of this
Act. Any and all tax sales made or instituted after the
effective date of this Act shall be made only in accordance
with the provisions hereof; provided that this Act shall
not refer to Allegany County, Dorchester County, Somerset
County, Harford County and Worcester County nor affect
the provisions of Articles 1, 10, 13, 20 and 24, respectively,
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland.
SEC. 2. And be it further enacted. That this Act is
hereby declared to be an emergency measure and necessary
for the immediate preservation of the public health and
safety, and having been passed by a yea and nay vote, sup-
ported by three-fifths of all the members elected to each of
the two Houses of the General Assembly, the same shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section
21 (f) of Article 99 of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1943 Supplement), title "Birds, Game and Inland Water
Fish", sub-title "Upland and Migratory Game Birds
and Game Animals", as said section was amended by
Chapter 611 of the Acts of 1945, relating to shooting
game birds and animals from public highways in Kent
County.
SECTIONl. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Section 21 (f) of Article 99 of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1943 Supplement), title "Birds, Game and
Inland Water Fish", sub-title "Upland and Migratory
Game Birds and Game Animals", as said section was
amended by Chapter 611 of the Acts of 1945, be and it is
hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

(f) It shall be unlawful to shoot or shoot at any game
bird or game animal from an automobile or other vehicle
