38. To the acquisition by Arlington Methodist Church
by mesne mergers and consolidation, of the fee simple prop-
erty located in Baltimore City, at the northwest corner of
Reisterstown Road and Lewin Avenue, fronting on said
road 214 feet 6 inches, more or less, with depth of 198 feet,
more or less, and being particularly mentioned and de-
scribed in a deed dated November 16th, 1868, recorded
among the Land Records of Baltimore County in Liber
E. H. A. No. 62, folio 251, from a certain John Lewin to
John Lewin et al, Trustees.
39. To deed from Herman H. Vordemberge, widower, to
the St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church—of Balti-
more City, dated November 5, 1945, and recorded among the
Land Records of Baltimore City in Liber M. L. P. No. 6821,
folio 127, merging and extinguishing the ground rent of
$90.00 formerly issuing out of property 2428 West Lan-
vale Street.
40. To deed from Frederick C. Staib, Trustee, to the
African Methodist Bethel Church of the City of Baltimore,
dated October 2, 1946, and recorded among the Land Rec-
ords of Baltimore City in Liber M. L. P. No. 7010, folio
383, merging and extinguishing the ground rent of $108.00
formerly issuing out of property 2027 McCulloh Street.
41. To deed in fee from Matilda C. Miller, unmarried,
to the Trustees of the Methodist Episcopal Church of the
Caroline Station dated February 25th, 1946, and recorded
among the Land Records of Baltimore City in Liber M. L. P.
6872, folio 255, conveying the fee simple title to property
known as No. 3031 lona Terrace.
42. To purchase by St. Luke's Evangelical Congregation
of Baltimore, Maryland, by deed dated June 29th, 1938,
recorded among the Land Records of Baltimore City in
Liber S. C. L. 5738, folio 52, from the North Broadway
Realty Co., the purchase of the land and improvements sit-
uate in the City of Baltimore, known as No. 3108 Clearview
Avenue—subject to the annual ground rent of $84.00.
43. To the following bequests in the Will of Sara E.
Ricou Smith, late of Baltimore County, deceased, and now
of record in the Office of the Register of Wills of Baltimore
County in "Wills" Liber W. P. C. No. 40, folio 377, etc.:
(a) To St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in the
City of Baltimore, a body corporate, a legacy of One Thou-
sand Dollars ($1,000.00).
