no other purpose whatsoever. The Town Commissioners
of Centreville are hereby authorized, empowered and direc-
ted to fix and from time to time change the compensation
said Treasurer shall receive for the duties imposed upon
him by this section, and said compensation, together with
the cost, if any, of the bond hereinafter mentioned, shall
be paid out of the sums received from consumers of electric
power and energy for electric services and shall be con-
sidered part of the cost of maintenance of said plant and
shall be in addition to the other amounts allowed to said
Treasurer for his other duties. The said Treasurer, before
entering upon the duties required of him by his act, shall
give to the Town Commissioners of Centreville a bond in such
amount and with such surety or sureties as the Town Com-
missioners of Centreville shall determine and approve, con-
ditioned for the faithful performance of the duties imposed
upon him by this act.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect June 1, 1947.

CHAPTER 556.
(Senate Bill 348)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Sec-
tions 155 and 160 of Article 21 of the Code of Public
Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title "Talbot
County", sub-title "Easton", as said sections were
amended by Chapter 26 of the Acts of 1937, relating to
the qualifications and compensation of the Mayor and
the members of the Council of Easton and eliminating
the provisions as to a board of health for said town.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland,
That Sections 155 and 160 of Article 21 of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Maryland (1930 Edition), title
"Talbot County", sub-title "Easton", as said sections were
amended by Chapter 26 of the Acts of 1937, be and they
are hereby repealed and re-enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

155. The Council shall consist of five members, and no
one shall be eligible to election to the Council who has not
