County", sub-title "Seat Pleasant", said new section to be
known as Section 1234-b, to follow immediately after Section
1234-a of said Article, and to read as follows:

1234-b (1) The boundaries of the Town of Seat Pleasant
are hereby extended to include the following area which is
added to said Town, beginning for the same at the northeast-
erly corner of the Town as now incorporated and bearing
thence in a northeasterly direction on a continuation of the
present corporate line for a distance of approximately 600
feet to a point in the center line of the stream known as the
Cabin Branch, then following the meanderings of the said
stream to the intersection of said stream and the right-of-way
of Central Avenue, and thence in a westerly direction along
the right-of-way of the said Central Avenue, up to and in-
cluding the right-of-way of the East Washington Railway
Company to the center line of "B" Street and the Palmer
Sub-division in the Town of Seat Pleasant.

(2) All of the territory hereby annexed to the Town of
Seat Pleasant shall after the date of the passage of this sec-
tion be subject to all laws, ordinances and regulations of
the Mayor and Common Council of Seat Pleasant. Provided,
however, that the land now taxed as acreage in this extension
shall be service free and tax free until the time that said
acreage is subdivided.

SEC. 2. And be it further enacted, That this Act is hereby
declared to be an emergency law and necessary for the im-
mediate preservation of the public health and safety and
having been passed upon a yea and nay vote supported by
three-fifths of all the members elected to the two Houses of
the General Assembly of Maryland, the same shall take effect
from the date of its passage.

(House Bill 151)

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact, with amendments, Section 15
of the Code of Public Local Laws of Prince George's County
(Flack's Edition, 1943), as enacted by Chapter 287 of the
Acts of 1922, to provide for an increase in the compensation
of Bailiffs of the Circuit Court for Prince George's County.
