AMENDMENT NO. 9 TO SENATE BILL NO. 215
Contingent on the passage of Senate Bill 359 and/or House Bill 613

On pages 133 and 134 (pp. 1218-1220), under the General Caption "Payment of Revenue to Civil Divisions of the State'', strike out all of the printed
matter and numerals appearing before Section No. 3, entitled "To the Counties and Cities of the State", and insert in lieu thereof, the following:

The following Appropriations are made from Special Funds

   

of the State:

1 TO BALTIMORE CITY: Thirty Percent. (30%)

   

of the net receipts entering into the Motor Vehicle

   

Revenue Fund, after deducting from the total of

   

these taxes the aggregate amount appropriated by

   

this Budget to the use' of the Department of Motor

   

Vehicles and Appropriation to the Traffic Courts..

2 TO BALTIMORE CITY: Thirty Percent. (30%)

   

of the net receipts entering into the Gasoline Tax

   

Fund (Five Cent (5c.) Gasoline Tax) ............

$5,151,600

The aggregate share of Baltimore City in the Gasoline

   

Tax Fund, together with its share in the Motor

   

Vehicle Revenue Fund, is appropriated and hereby

   

dedicated to the Mayor and City Council of Balti-

   

more, and shall be used for the construction, re-

   

construction, or maintenance of the streets and

   

highways of the City of Baltimore ; or for the pay-

   

ment of Debt Service with respect to Bonds or other

   

evidences of debt heretofore or hereafter issued

   

by the City of Baltimore for the construction, re-

   

construction or maintenance of streets and high-

   

ways of the City of Baltimore ; and for no other

   

purpose.

   

TOTAL MOTOR VEHICLE REVENUE AND GASOLINE TAX

   

TO BALTIMORE CITY................................

$7801,500

$7.991,264

The amounts hereby shown are considered as esti-

   

mates only, it being the intention that these appro-

   

priations shall be the whole of said taxes and in-
